Tom Hiddleston To Star In Apple Limited Series THE WHITE DARKNESS

Tom Hiddleston To Star In Apple Limited Series THE WHITE DARKNESS
"Loki" star Tom Hiddleston has signed on to star in the Apple TV+ limited series "The White Darkness" based on David Grann's non-fiction book of the same name. The series hails from "Pachinko" creator Soo Hugh. Hugh and "Strange Angel" creator Mark Heyman will serve as showrunners.

The miniseries is inspired by the true life account of Henry Worsley, played by Hiddleston, a devoted husband and father, a former soldier, a man of deep honor and sacrifice, but also a man deeply obsessed with adventure, manifesting in an epic journey crossing Antarctica on foot.

Hugh will also serve as an executive producer alongside Theresa Kang-Lowe through her company Blue Marble Pictures, Caroline Garity of Blue Marble Pictures, which is currently in an overall deal with Apple TV+, and Heyman.

This is Hiddleston's second collaboration with Apple. He is also set to star in the streaming service's drama series "The Essex Serpent" based on the novel by Anna Symon. He will also appear in Netflix's upcoming limited series "White Stork".
