The nominations for the 76th annual Emmy Awards have been announced. "Shogun" leads the pack with 25 nominations including Best Drama Series, setting the record for most nominations of any series, and joining "Squid Game" as the second non-English-language show to be recognized in the drama category. Other top nominees are FX's "The Bear" with 23 nods, setting the record for comedy series, Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building" with 21, HBO/Max's "True Detective: Night Country" with 19 nominations, and Netflix's "The Crown" with 18 nods.
The 76th Emmys are set to air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15 from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on ABC. The Creative Arts ceremonies, where a majority of the Emmy trophies are handed out, are set for Saturday, September 7th, and Sunday, September 8th. No host has been set, for now.
