Olivia Colman, Noah Jupe & More Returning For THE NIGHT MANAGER Season 2

The second season of the John le Carre's adaptation "The Night Manager" is currently in development, and it has been announced that Olivia Colman will be reprising her role as intelligence officer Angela Burr. Also returning are Alistair Petrie as Alexander "Sandy" Langbourne, Douglas Hodge as Rex Mayhew, Michael Nardone as Frisky, and Noah Jupe as Danny/Daniel Roper.

Tom Hiddleston was previously announced to return as former military officer Jonathan Pine. No story details have been revealed. The new season is set eight years after the Season 1 finale, and will air on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Amazon's Prime Video outside of the UK, including the US.

Other previously announced cast members include Diego Calva ("Babylon"), Camila Morrone ("Daisy Jones & The Six", "Marmalade"), Indira Varma ("Game of Thrones"), Paul Chahidi ("The Serpent Queen") and Hayley Squires ("Beau Is Afraid").

Series creator David Farr is also executive producing and writing the new season. BAFTA-winning helmer Georgi Banks-Davies ("I Hate Suzie", "Paper Girls") is directing.

Executive producers also include Hugh Laurie, Banks-Davies and Hiddleston; Stephen Garrett for Character 7; Joe Tsai and Arthur Wang for 127 Wall; Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff and Tessa Inkelaar for The Ink Factory; Adrián Guerra for Nostromo Pictures; William D. Johnson for Demarest Films; Nick Cornwell, Susanne Bier, Chris Rice for Fifth Season; and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC.

The series hails from The Ink Factory in association with Character 7, Demarest Films and 127 Wall, and in co-production with Nostromo Pictures. Fifth Season handles global distribution.
