A new "Game of Thrones" spinoff series is currently in early development at HBO, one that seems to focus on the original show's fan-favorite hero Jon Snow. Kit Harington is reportedly attached to reprise the role should the series move forward.
The show will take place after the events of "Game of Thrones", which saw Snow exiled from Westeros and heading North of the Wall with the Wildlings to begin a new life. This would also open up the possibility of seeing other familiar faces from the iconic series.
In the meantime, HBO's first spinoff series "House of the Dragon" will premiere on August 21st, while the other spinoffs, including "Tales of Dunk and Egg", "10,000 Ships", "9 Voyages", "Flea Bottom" and an animated series are still in dedvelopment.
The role of Jon Snow brought Harington two Emmy nominations. Harington recently starred in Marvel's "Eternals" and headlined the National Theater's live production of Shakespeare's "Henry V" at the Donmar Warehouse in London.
