Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford to Star in YELLOWSTONE Prequel Series 1932

Helen Mirren Harrison Ford To Star In Yellowstone Prequel 1932

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford have signed on to lead Paramount's upcoming drama series "1932", a new prequel to the hit series "Yellowstone" created by Taylor Sheridan.

The show will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home. No character details have been offered at this time.

"1932" is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions. The series will premiere in December.

This is the second "Yellowstone" prequel from Sheridan, following "1883", which starred Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and quickly became the most watched Paramount+ show globally.

Production on the fifth season of "Yellowstone" is currently underway. Sheridan is also working on "Mayor of Kingstown", and the upcoming series "Lioness", "Tulsa King", "1883: The Bass Reeves Story" and "Land Man".

Ford recently signed on to star in the Apple comedy series "Shrinking", and recently wrapped filming on "Indiana Jones 5".
