Last week's No. 1 movie, "The Flash" crashed in its sophomore frame, allowing Sony's "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" to return to the top spot after finishing in third place last week. The newly released R-rated comedy "No Hard Feelings" starring Jennifer Larence failed to impress with its modest debut, and Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City" expanded nationwide.

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" is back in first place with $19.3 million in its fourth weekend. The film dropped just 29%. The film's domestic total has reached $317 million, and with another $243.2 million grossed overseas, the film's worldwide cume has now reached $560.3 million.
Disney/Pixar's "Elemental" has recovered a bit from its disappointing debut and managed to hold in second place with 18.4 million, a soft 38% sophomore decline. The film has now grossed $65.5 million in North America, and $55.6 million overseas, which brings its global tally to $121.1 million.
"The Flash" registered a catastrophic decline of 72.3% in its second weekend, finishing in third place with $15.2 million. That's the worst sophomore drop in the entire DC Extended Universe. The film's domestic total has reached $87.6 million. Overseas it raked in $123.3 million, which all adds up to $210.9 million worldwide.
Sony's R-rated comedy "No Hard Feelings" opened in fourth place with a lacklustre $15.1 million from 3,208 theaters. To be fair, it's not really a terrible debut, but expectations were somewhat higher for this one, and with a production budget of $45 million it must earn around $90 million just to break even. The film also opened with $9.5 million overseas. "No Hard Feelings" received a lukewarm reception from both critics (68% on Rotten Tomatoes) and moviegoers ("B" CinemaScore).
The Top 5 is rounded out by "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" with $11.6 million in its third frame. The film fell 44%, after losing 66% last week. The domestic total has reached $122.9 million, and the film earned another $218.3 million internationally, which brings the global cume to $341.2 million.
Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City" opened in limited release last week, and expanded nationwide this week, finishing in sixth place with $9 million from 1,675 theaters. The film received a positive reception from critics (76% on Rotten Tomatoes), but audiences were mixed on it ("B" CinemaScore).
