Marcel and Hardy will also produce. The screenplay is written by Marcel from a story she and Hardy wrote. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker also are producing.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, and it unknown who Temple will be playing. While the first two films are far from being critical darlings, both films earned a combined $1.36 billion at the global box-office.
With Temple's hit Apple series "Ted Lasso" coming to an end, Temple has already joined other projects, including the fifth season of FX's "Fargo"
