Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett are set to co-star in Searchlight's upcoming film "Is This Thing On ?". Cooper is also set to direct from a script co-written by Arnett and Mark Chappell. The script was completed before the WGA strike started, but production will likely be delayed until the strike ends. Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Cooper also is producing along with Arnett and Kris Thykier ("Miss Sloane", "Kick-Ass"), who is producing through his Archery Pictures banner. John Bishop will executive produce.
Cooper, a three-time Academy Award nominee ("Silver Linings Playbook", "American Hustle", "American Sniper"), made his feature directorial debut with "A Star is Born", which earned eight Oscar nominations. He most recently was seen reprising his role as Rocket Raccoon in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3". He is currently in post-production on the Netflix drama "Maestro", which he directed, produced, co-wrote and also stars in as composer Leonard Bernstein.
Seven-time Emmy nominee Will Arnett recently appeared in the documentary "SmartLess: On the Road". He also voiced the title character of Netflix's animated series "BoJack Horseman". Arnett will produce Peacock's upcoming series "Twisted Metal", and will co-star in Taika Waititi's "Next Goal Wins".
