Emma Corrin Lands Lead Role In Marvel's DEADPOOL 3
"The Crown" star Emma Corrin has joined the cast of the upcoming sequel "Deadpool 3" from Marvel Studios. The film will be directed by Shawn Levy ("Free Guy") from a script by "Deadpool" series scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Ryan Reynolds will return as the titular protagonist, and he will be joined by Hugh Jackman, who is reprising his Wolverine role. Corrin will play a villain, but more details about her role have not been made available.

Marvel had been looking to cast Corrin before the holidays, but due to scheduling issues, they were finally able to secure the Emmy-nominated actor for the film during the past week. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will join Reynolds and Levy as producers.

Corrin can be seen onstage at the Garrick Theatre in London's West End starring in "Orlando". and she also recently signed on to Robert Eggers' "Nosferatu", which also stars Lily Rose-Depp, Bill Skarsgard and Nicholas Hoult.
