Channing Tatum in Final Talks to Join Sandra Bullock in THE LOST CITY OF D

Channing Tatum in Final Talks to Join Sandra Bullock in THE LOST CITY OF D
Channing Tatum is in final negotiations to star alongside Sandra Bullock in Paramount's romantic action adventure film "The Lost City of D" which will be directed by Adam and Aaron Nee ("Masters of the Universe").

The film, which has been described as being in the vein of "Romancing the Stone", will star Bullock as an author who gets stuck on a book tour with her book's cover model (Tatum), until a kidnapping attempt sweeps them both into a cutthroat jungle adventure, proving life can be so much stranger — and more romantic — than any of her paperback fictions.

The script was initially written by Oren Uziel ("The Cloverfield Paradox", "22 Jump Street") from an idea by Seth Gordon ("Horrible Bosses"), and the most recent draft was penned by Dana Fox ("Couples Retreat", "Isn't It Romantic").

Bullock and Gordon are also producing.

Tatum recently finished work on the road trip comedy "Dog", which he both starred in and co-directed with producing partner Reid Carolin. He is also set to star in one of Universal's upcoming classic monster reboots, which will reunite him with "Jump Street" helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
