Lily James & Sebastian Stan to Play Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee in Hulu Limited Series

Lily James ("Baby Driver") and Sebastian Stan ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") have signed on to star in Hulu's new upcoming limited series "Pam & Tommy" (working title) directed by Craig Gillespie ("I, Tonya") from a script by Rob Siegel.

The eight-episode miniseries will focus on the relationship between "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson (James) and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee (Stan), whose romance dominated the tabloids for years. Anderson and Lee are not involved in the making of the series.

It all started when the two celebrities got married after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995, and their relationship is perhaps more infamously known for the sex tape scandal that turned into a major legal dispute, which will play a major part in the series. Anderson sued the video distribution company Internet Entertainment Group, and the lawsuit ended with the Lees getting a confidential settlement deal, after which the company began making the tape available to its website subscribers again, resulting in triple the normal traffic.

Seth Rogen stars as the man who stole the tape, and will also produce alongside Evan Goldberg, Dylan Sellers, Dave Franco, Sue Naegle and Megan Ellison. Filming will begin in the spring.

James can next be seen in "The Dig" opposite Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes, and she recently joined the cast of "What's Love Got To Do With It".

Stan is set to reprise his MCU role in the Marvel/Disney series "Falcon and the Winter Soldier".
