The Wattpad - Collective Pictures co-production will center on a character named Waverly, whose parents' messy divorce force her to leave her life in Alaska to spend the summer in her aunt's sunny beach town, only to clash with an arrogant, jaded, beach bum named Blake. The original Wattpad story racked up over 25.5 million reads.

Bodine's "The Hound", which is being scripted by Angela LaManna (Netflix's "The Haunting of Bly Manor").
