Harry Styles Joins Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde's DON'T WORRY DARLING

Harry Styles Joins Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde's DON'T WORRY DARLING
After making his feature acting debut in Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk", former One Direction member Harry Styles has joined the cast of Olivia Wilde's new directorial project "Don't Worry Darling". Styles replaces Shia LaBeouf, who exited the project due to a scheduling conflict. The cast already includes Florence Pugh, Chris Pine and Dakota Johnson, as well as Wilde in a supporting role.

The New Line thriller is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert. Plot details are being kept under wraps. "Booksmart" scribe Katie Silberman penned the screenplay, which is based on a spec script by Shane and Carey Van Dyke. The studio considers the project a high priority, having landed rights after a heated bidding war.

The film will be produced by Wilde and Silberman alongside Roy Lee and Miri Yoon. Catherine Hardwicke ("Twilight", "Lords of Dogtown") will executive produce with Shane and Carey Van Dyke.

A fall production start is being considered.
