The comedy follows three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. Gomez will play the third stranger. This will be her first regular television role since her time on the Disney Channel series "Wizards of Waverly Place".
Gomez is set to both star and executive produce alongside Martin Short and Martin. "This is Us" creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal are also on board to executive produce. 20th Century Fox Television will produce.
