Adria Arjona Joins Disney+'s ROGUE ONE Prequel Series

"6 Underground" and "Pacific Rim: Uprising" actress Adria Arjona has joined the cast of Disney's upcoming "Rogue One" prequel series. Filmmaker Tony Gilroy, who handled reshoots for the 2016 film, will oversee the series. He also wrote the pilot episode and will direct multiple episode. Stephen Schiff ("The Americans") is set as showrunner.

Diego Luna will reprise his role as Cassian Andor, and the series will focus on the character's early days in the rebellion. Alan Tudyk will also return to provide voice and motion capture for the droid K-2SO. Genevieve O'Reilly will reprise the role of Mon Mothma. The cast also includes Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller.

This will be just one of several Lucasfilm live-action TV projects for Disney+, including the second season of Jon Favreau's "The Mandalorian", and an Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor.

Arjona is also set to star in the upcoming "Morbius" opposite Jared Leto.
