Adam Driver Starring in Sci-Fi Thriller 65 From A QUIET PLACE Writers
Two-time Oscar-nominated "Marriage Story" and "Star Wars" star Adam Driver has joined the cast of Sony's sci-fi thriller "65" which will be written and directed by "A Quiet Place" scribes Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Beck and Woods will also produce alongside Sam Raimi ("Spider-Man", "Evil Dead"), Debbie Liebling and Zainab Azizi.

The plot is a big secret at this point. Also unknown is when the project will begin filming, as Driver has several other projects lined up after he finishes Ridley Scott's "The Last Duel", which recently restarted production after being halted by the coronavirus pandemic. One of those projects is Scott's true crime drama "Gucci", in which he will star opposite Lady Gaga.

Beck and Woods have previously worked with Raimi on an episode of the filmmaker's Quibi series "50 States of Fright". Beck and Woods' original screenplay for "A Quiet Place" was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards and the Writers Guild of America Awards and won Best Film Screenplay at the Saturn Awards.
