Weekend Box-Office: FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Dominates Lackluster Post-Halloween Frame

Weekend Box Office Five Nights At Freddys Priscilla

"Five Nights at Freddy's" is still the No. 1 movie at the box-office, but overall it's not really great news. "Dune: Part Two" was originally set to release this weekend, but due to the actors strike, that movie was delayed, and the box-office ended up dropping 50% from last weekend to an estimated 64.6 million, making it the fourth lowest of 2023 to date. "Dune: Part 2" now comes out on March 15, 2024. "The Marvels" opens next weekend, which should give the box-office a boost.

"Five Nights at Freddy's" broke records when it opened last week, but this week it saw a massive 76% decline. The film raked in $19.4 million, and it has crossed the $100 million milestone in its second week. With another $103.5 million grossed overseas, the film's global total now stands at $217.1 million against a $20 million budget.

The concert film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" is holding in second place with $13.5 million, which brings the domestic total to $166 million. Another $65.1 million raked in from foreign markets bring the worldwide cume to $231.1 million.

Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon" is doing a little better in its third weekend. The film has grossed $7 million over the weekend, falling just 25%. After 17 days in theaters, the film has grossed $52.3 million in North America, and another $66.8 million overseas. That's $119.1 million worldwide.

Sofia Coppola's biopic "Priscilla" expanded nationwide and finished in fourth place with $5 million from 1,359 theaters.

A surprise in the Top 10 is the Spanish-language true story drama "Radical" starring Eugenio Derbez, which opened in fifth place with $2.7 million from only 419 theaters.

In other news, Meg Ryan's new directorial project "What Happens Later" opened in ninth place with $1.5 million from 1,492 theaters.
