The Dwayne Johnson starrer "Black Adam" repeats in the top spot with $27.7 million, dropping 59%. That's more or less on par with other big budget comic book movies. The film's domestic total has reached $111.1 million after 10 days in theaters, while overseas it has raked in $139 million from 77 markets. With a $200 million production budget, it still needs a lot more in order to turn a profit.
The romantic comedy "Ticket to Paradise" is holding steady in second place with $10 million after a soft 39% drop. The film has now grossed a total of $33.7 million domestically and another $85.6 million overseas.
Lionsgate's horror film "Prey for the Devil" opened in third place with $7 million from 2,980 theaters.
Paramount's "Smile" finished in fourth place with $5 million, dropping 40% in its fifth weekend. The film's domestic total has reached $92.3 million, while overseas it has raked in a total of $93.6 million.
The Top 5 is rounded out by the horror sequel "Halloween Kills" with $3.8 million. The film dropped a steep 52% in in its third frame. The domestic tally has reached $60.3 million after 17 days, while overseas it added a total of $34.3 million from 76 markets.
