Amy Adams to Star in Adaptation of Rachel Yoder's Novel NIGHTBITCH

Amy Adams to Star in Adaptation of Rachel Yoder's Novel NIGHTBITCH
Amy Adams is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Rachel Yoder's "Nightbitch". Annapurna Pictures has landed the rights to the book after competitive auction. Yoder will also pen the screenplay and executive produce alongside Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle and Sammy Scher.

Adams will stars as an unnamed woman and former artist who is thrust into stay-at-home domesticity after the birth of her son, and becomes increasingly worried and convinced that she may be turning into a dog. The novel explores motherhood through a darkly comic perspective, and will be published by Doubleday in Summer 2021.

This will be Annapurna and Adams' fifth collaboration following "The Master", "American Hustle", "Her" and "Vice". Adams and Stacy O'Neil will produce through Bond Group Entertainment.

Adams will next be seen in Ron Howard's "Hillbilly Elegy" and Joe Wright's "The Woman in the Window".
