Joey King in Talks to Join Brad Pitt in Action Thriller BULLET TRAIN
"The Kissing Booth" star Joey King is in talks to join the cast of the action thriller "Bullet Train". The film will be directed by David Leitch ("John Wick", "Atomic Blonde"), who is also supervising the script penned by Zak Olkewicz ("Fear Street").

The film is based on the Japanese novel "Maria Beetle" by Kotaro Isaka and it centers on a group of hitmen and assassins with conflicting motives on a train in Tokyo. Pitt will play an American hitman named Ladybug, while King will star an unassuming teenage assassin named Prince.

Filming is expected to begin this fall. Leitch and Kelly McCormick will produce through 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua. Kat Samick is executive producing alongside Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada of CTB Inc.

King recently starred in Netflix's "The Kissing Booth 2" and a third film in the series has already been shot. She will also star in and executive produce the limited series "A Spark of Light" based on the best-selling book by Jodi Piccoult, and is also attached to star in and produce "The In Between" for Paramount Players.
