Jaime King to star opposite Bruce Willis in OUT OF DEATH

"Sin City" and "Black Summer" star Jaime King is set to star in the thriller "Out of Death" opposite Bruce Willis. Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing through Emmett/Furla Films. The film will be the first of three Willis has agreed in a deal with the production company.

Directed by Mike Burns from a script penned by Bill Lawrence, the film focuses on a woman (King) on a hike who witnesses four strangers committing a crime. As she races through the woods to escape, she comes across a retired forest ranger (Willis), and seeks his help. Tim Sullivan and Alex Eckert will executive produce.

Production is expected to begin once Willis completes work on the drama "Midnight In The Switchgrass", which was filming in Puerto Rico before being halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

King was in the middle of filming the second season of Netflix's "Black Summer" when the COVID-19 pandemic halted production. She will first resume production on the horror drama series, on which she also serves as a producer, before filming "Out of Death".
