Jack Black and The Farrelly Brothers Reunite For Christmas Comedy DEAR SANTA

Jack Black Picture

Jack Black and filmmakers Bobby and Peter Farrelly are set to work together once again on Paramount's holiday film "Dear Santa". They previously worked together on the 2001 comedy "Shallow Hal". The Farrellys will direct, and the current working draft of the script is by the Farrelly brothers and Ricky Blitt. The original idea hails from Dan Ewen.

The Christmas movie follows a young boy who, in writing his yearly note to Santa, mixes up the letters and sends it to Satan instead. The cast also includes Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, PJ Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, Kai Cech and Austion Post.

Black can next be heard in Universal's "The Super Mario Bros Movie" as the voice of Bowser. He will also appear in Lionsgate's video game adaptation "Borderlands". This summer, Black and Kyle Gass will head out on a Tenacious D tour of Europe.
