Academy Award-nominated actors Florence Pugh ("Black Widow") and Andrew Garfield ("Hacksaw Ridge") are in negotiations to work together in the upcoming film "We Live in Time" directed by John Crowley ("Brooklyn") from a script by Nick Payne ("Wanderlust"). StudioCanal will produce the project with SunnyMarch.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film has been described as a "funny, deeply moving and immersive love story". If the deals with Pugh and Garfield go through, production is expected to begin later this year.
Pugh recently starred in "The Wonder" and "Don't Worry Darling", and can next be seen in "A Good Person", Christopher Nolan's epic biopic "Oppenheimer", "Dune Part Two" and Marvel's "Thunderbolts".
Garfield recently received Emmy and SAG awards nominations for his role in the miniseries "Under the Banner of Heaven". He is attached to star in David Leitch's series "Hot Air", in which he plays eccentric entrepreneur Richard Branson.
