Liam Neeson Set to Star in Neil Jordan's Thriller THE RIKER'S GHOST
Liam Neeson has signed on to star in the thriller "The Riker's Ghost" from director Neil Jordan ("The Crying Game", "Interview With a Vampire"). The film is written by Sean O'Keefe ("Spenser Confidential"), Brian Rudnick ("Dungeons & Dragons") and Jordan.

The story follows a convict set for release (Neeson) who is forced to break a terrorist out of prison, when his lawyer is kidnapped, as he is the only one who knows a way out.

Capstone's Christian Mercuri is handling international sales and will introduce to buyers at the upcoming European Film Market. Parallel Film's Alan Moloney and Endurance Media's Steve Richards will produce. Jake Katofsky and Susan Mullen will co-produce with Rupert Wyatt also serving as producer. In addition to producing, Richards' Endurance will also finance.

Jordan, Neeson, and Moloney recently teamed up to make the mystery thriller "Marlowe", which opens in theaters on February 15th. Neeson and Richards, have worked together on a number of titles including the action thriller "Non-Stop", which made over $222.8 million in global box-office, and mystery-thriller "Unknown", which made $136.1 million in global box-office, among others.

Jordan said the following:
"This is a unique take on the prison escape. A bare knuckle ride from incarceration to freedom, by someone who just wants to finish his term. The reluctant escapee will be played by Liam Neeson, and I can’t wait to explore this character with him."
Moloney also added:
"I am thrilled to be joining forces again with Neil and Liam. We have put together an elite team to support Neil's scripted and directorial vision. This one will have you on the edge of your seat.".
