Samuel L. Jackson to Play Nick Fury in New Marvel Disney Plus Series
Samuel L. Jackson is set to reprise the role of Nick Fury in a an upcoming Marvel series that is currently in development at Disney Plus. Kyle Bradstreet ("Mr. Robot", "Copper") is attached to write and executive produce. Marvel Studios will produce. This will be Jackson's first regular TV role of his career.

Plot details are being kept under wraps. The actor is famous for portraying Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., since the beginning of the MCU. His first appearance was in the post-credits scene of the first "Iron Man" in 2008. Since then he appeared in "Iron Man 2", "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "Spider-Man: Far from Home", "Avengers: Endgame" and "Captain Marvel".

The veteran actor is best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction", which earned him an Oscar nomination, "Jackie Brown", "The Hateful Eight" and "Django Unchained", as well as Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing", "Jungle Fever" and "Chi-Raq". He also appeared in the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy, and M. Night Shyamalan's "Unbreakable" and "Glass".

Disney Plus also has other Marvel series in the works. "WandaVision" will be released later this year, while "Hawkeye", "Moon Knight", "Ms. Marvel", "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and "Loki" are set to debut in 2021. Tatiana Maslany was recently announced to star in the upcoming "She-Hulk" series.
