Natalee Linez ("Chicago P.D.", "Tell Me Lies") is set to star in another Dick Wolf universe series. The actress has joined the cast of the CBS show "CIA", which is a spinoff of "FBI". The cast also includes Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss and Michael Michele.
"CIA" will focus on two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Ellis), and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent (Gehlfuss) who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA's New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.
Linez will be playing Gina Rojas, a trusted CIA analyst on the team, while Michele plays the head of CIA's New York Station.
The show will premiere in midseason 2026. It was originally planned for a fall 2025 premiere, but was pushed to midseason while also undergoing a showrunner change. Warren Leight replaced "FBI: Most Wanted" showrunner David Hudgins, who was originally set to lead the series and co-write the pilot script with creator Dick Wolf.
Wolf and Leight executive produce alongside Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen, Paul Cabbad and Peter Jankowski. Eriq La Salle executive produces the series and will direct the pilot episode. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.
