Regina Hall & Anna Faris Return for SCARY MOVIE 6

Regina Hall Anna Faris Return For Scary Movie 6

"Scary Movie" series alums Regina Hall and Anna Faris will return as Brenda and Cindy, respectively for the upcoming reboot of the spoof comedy series. The new film has been described as a "big reunion", with the Wayans brothers returning to write an original script for the franchise for the first time in 18 years, alongside Rick Alvarez.

Hall and Faris said the following: "We can't wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon — three men we'd literally die for (in Brenda's case, again)."

"Scary Movie 6" is expected to begin filming in October. The film will open in theaters on June 12, 2026. Paramount will handle the worldwide theatrical release. Miramax has a first-look deal with Paramount.

Michael Tiddes ("A Haunted House", "Naked and Sextuplets") is set to direct. Miramax's Jonathan Glickman, Alexandra Loewy and Thomas Zadra are executive producing.

Hall is currently in production on Peacock's "The Five Star Weekend", which also stars Jennifer Garner, Chloë Sevigny, Gemma Chan and Timothy Olyphant. She can next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson's new film "One Battle After Another" alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro, and she is also attached to star in Nick Stoller's "Judgment Day" with Will Ferrell and Zac Efron.

Faris will next star in the comedy "Spa Weekend" written and directed by "The Hangover" scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The cast also includes Leslie Mann and isla Fisher.
