Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes Join 28 YEARS LATER Trilogy

Jodie Comer Aaron Taylor Johnson Ralph Fiennes 28 Years Later

The new zombie horror trilogy "28 Years Later" is currently in development and we already have our first casting announcement. Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), Aaron Taylor Johnson ("Godzilla") and Ralph Fiennes ("The Menu") have signed on to star in the upcoming sequel to Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later".

Boyle will return to direct the first movie from a script by Alex Garland. "Candyman" reboot helmer Nia DaCosta has been tapped to direct the second part of the trilogy. Both films will be shot back-to-back. Boyle and Garland are also on board as producers alongside Andrew Macdonald and Peter Rice. Cillian Murphy, who starred in the original film, is also returning as an executive producer.

Comer can next be seen opposite Austin Butler and Tom Hardy in "The Bikeriders". Taylor-Johnson can be seen in three movies this year: "The Fall Guy", "Kraven the Hunter" and "Nosferatu". Fiennes is next set to star in "The Return" and "Conclave".
