The feature film nominations for the 2023 Directors Guild of America awards have been announced. The contenders and Oscar hopefuls this year are Todd Field for "Tar", Joseph Kosinski for "Top Gun: Maverick", Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert for "Everything Everywhere All at Once", Martin McDonagh for "The Banshees of Inisherin" and Steven Spielberg for "The Fabelmans". Winners will be announced during the guild’s awards ceremony February 18 at the Beverly Hilton.
