Margaret Qualley Christopher Abbott Picture

Margaret Qualley ("The Leftovers") and Christopher Abbott ("Catch 22", "Possessor") will star in the thriller "Sanctuary". The film is directed by Zachary Wigon ("The Heart Machine") from a script by Micah Bloomberg ("Homecoming"). Production has already wrapped in New York, but there is no release date as of yet.

Set in a hotel room over the course of a single night, "Sanctuary" focuses on a dominatrix (Qualley) and her wealthy client Hal (Abbott), who is about to inherit his father's fortune and position. Hal tries to end their relationship, but when his attempt to cut ties backfires, disaster ensues.

Executive producers include Carole Baraton, Yohann Comte and Pierre Mazars of Charades, Elizaveta Chalenko of Hype Film, Maxim Dashkin of Mosaic Films, as well as Qualley and Bloomberg.

Qualley can next be seen in the Netflix limited series "Maid", which premieres on October 1, and will begin production on the romantic thriller "Stars at Noon", in which she stars alongside Taron Egerton.

Abbott stars in Jerrod Carmichael's directorial debut "on the Count of Three", and is set to begin production on Yorgos Lanthimos' "Poor Things" opposite Emma Stone.
