The action-thriller stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular antihero, a character who was first created as Shazam's archnemesis. The film will also introduce the Justice Society of America, a multigenerational group that preceded the Justice League. Hodge will play Hawkman, aka Carter Hall, a member of the Justice Society.
The cast also includes Noah Centineo as Atmo Smasher. Doctor Fate and Cyclone will also be featured in the film, but have yet to be cast. Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani have penned the latest draft of the script.
"Black Adam" will begin production in late winter or spring of 2021.
