"One Battle After Another" breakout star Chase Infiniti is set to star in the coming-of-age drama "The Julia Set" alongside Christopher Briney ("The Summer I Turned Pretty"), Gillian Anderson ("Sex Education") and Jason Isaacs ("The White Lotus"). The film is written and directed by Niki Byrne. Production is already underway in London.
Infiniti stars as Julia, a talented mathematician operating within a fiercely competitive academic environment. Briney plays Pascal, the T.A. who conscripts her into an elite prep course for the most challenging math competition in the world, the Putnam Exam.
The film hails from Potato Salad Cosmic Domination in association with The Gotham Group, If/Then, G Nus Media, Cinetrain, and Melegrano. Producers include Jeffrey Penman alongside The Gotham Group's Ellen Goldsmith-Vein ("Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere", "Juror #2") and Lee Stollman ("The Maze Runner", "Stargirl"), as well as Anderson, Nick Scherma, Tayler Haynes, Andrey Epifanov and Eleonora Granata-Jenkinson. The film is being produced with the support of the If/Then initiative, which advances culture change by highlighting positive role models in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (or STEM).
Nicole G. Small and Margaret Black are exec producing for "If/Then", alongside Cecily Colahan, Infiniti, Gabriel Jenkinson, Lauren Beveridge, Art Williams and David Fensterstock, with HanWay Films on board to handle worldwide sales.
Infinity can also be seen starring in "The Testaments", Hulu's follow-up to "The Handmaid's Tale". Briney is set to reprise his role as Conrad in the upcoming "The Summer I Turned Pretty" movie, and also has a role on the upcoming fifth season of HBO Max's "Hacks".
Anderson will next be seen in Channel 4's "Trespasses", based on the novel by Louise Kennedy, as well as Netflix's Western series "The Abandons" and Ben Affleck's "Animals". Upcoming projects include "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" for Plan B and Mubi.
Isaacs recently finished work on "Victorian Psycho" based on the bestselling novel by Virginia Feito, and is currently filming the indie hostage thriller "Eleven Days", alongside Diego Luna and Taylor Kitsch. He can next be seen in the psychological horror film "Honey Bunch".
