Millie Bobby Brown ("Stranger Things") is set to star in a new Netflix series titled "Prism", which she will also executive produce alongside Rachel Brosnahan ("Superman"). The show is based on the short story of the same name that was an Assemble Original featured in the magazine Assemble Artifacts, and was developed in-house with writer Nick Shafir, who will co-produce. Assemble Media is attached to produce. Etan Frankel ("Shameless", "Joe vs. Carole") has been tapped as showrunner.
Brown will play Cassie, a woman with the unique ability to communicate with apparitions, who must uncover the cause of a newly discovered phenomenon that causes "visitors" (ghosts) to appear all over the world before it's too late. The series.
Executive producers include Brown through her PCMA banner; Brosnahan and Russell Kahn via Scrap Paper Pictures; Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes and Alessandra Maman on behalf of AGBO; and Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen of Assemble Media.
Brosnahan will next star in and executive produce the second season of Apple TV's "Presumed Innocent".
