While plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is a follow-up to Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", and Oscar winner Brad Pitt will reprise the iconic role of stuntman Cliff Booth, who in the new film will become a Hollywood fixer. The film is described as more of a spinoff of the original film rather than a direct sequel.
The cast also includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan. It is unknown who Gugino will be playing in the new film. Production is expected to begin this summer.
Gugino can be seen in Amazon Studios' action comedy "Heads of State", which also stars Idris Elba, John Cena and Pryianka Chopra.
