Street Fighter Movie Adds David Dastmalchian Callina Liang Andrew Schulz

Casting is still underway for Legendary's live-action "Street Fighter" movie, and we have three more names confirmed to star: David Dastmalchian ("Late Night With the Devil"), Callina Liang ("Presence") and Andrew Schulz ("Tires"). Plot details have not been revealed. The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai ("Bad Trip") and is expected to be released in 2026.

Dastmalchian will play iconic franchise villain M. Bison, Liang has been cast as expert martial artist and Interpol officer Chun-Li, and Schulz stars as the character Dan Hibiki who first appeared in "Street Fighter Alpha". The cast also includes Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Roman Reigns and Orville Peck.

Launched in 1987, Capcom's "Street Fighter" is a series of fighting games that center around a global fighting tournament organized by M. Bison, the leader of the evil organization Shadaloo. The series has sold over 55 million units worldwide since launch, making it one of the most well-known and highest-grossing video game franchises of all time.

Dastmalchian is currently working on the psychological thriller "Kodak SuperXX", in which he stars opposite Kelly Marie Tran. He is also set to star in Bryan Fuller's horror film "Dust Bunny", which also stars Mads Mikkelsen and Sigourney Weaver.
