Two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz ("Django Unchained", "Inglorious Basterds") has joined the fifth season of Hulu's acclaimed comedy series Only Murders in the Building" in a recurring role. Earlier it was announced that Keegan-Michael Key would also join the new season's cast. As usual, character and plot details are being kept under wraps as Seaso 5 is currently in production.
The fourth season of "Only Murders in the Building" aired in 2024. The cast includes Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez in lead roles, while the Season 4 cast included Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Richard Kind, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani and Molly Shannon.
The show's third season raked in 21 Emmy nominations, the most for a single season to date. Martin and John Hoffman co-created the series, with Hoffman also serving as showrunner. Both serve as executive producers along with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. 20th Television is the studio.
