SEVERANCE Renewed For Season 3 At Apple TV+

Immediately after the Season 2 finale of the dystopian workplace thriller "Severance", Apple officially announced that the show has been renewed for a third season. Created by Dan Erickson and directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, the show started out as a niche series with a cult following but has since become a bonafide hit for Apple TV+, becoming its most-watched series.

"Severance" stars Adam Scott as Mark Scout, a man working for the shady biotech company Lumon, who leads a team of employees who've had their memories surgically divided between their work and personal lives. Together, they begin a journey to discover the truth about their jobs and themselves. The cast also features Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Tramell Tillman, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock and Michael Chernus.

Ben Stiller had this to say in a statement: "Making 'Severance' has been one of the most creatively exciting experiences I've ever been a part of. While I have no memory of this, I'm told making Season 3 will be equally enjoyable, though any recollection of these future events will be forever and irrevocably wiped from my memory as well."

Scott also added "I couldn't be more excited to get back to work with Ben, Dan, the incredible cast and crew, Apple and the whole 'Severance' team. Oh hey also — not a huge deal — but if you see my innie, please don't mention any of this to him. Thanks."

Erickson also released a statement, saying: "The idea of getting to make more 'Severance' with the greatest cast and crew on Earth is more thrilling to me than all the world's finger traps combined. I can't wait to continue spreading woe, frolic, dread and malice with these truly incredible people."
