Weekend Box Office Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Speak No Evil

The sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is enjoying a strong second weekend, and Universal and Blumhouse's newly released horror remake "Speak No Evil" starring James McAvoy opened in a not-so-close second place. The satirical documentary "Am I Racist ?" scored the top debut in 2024 for a doc, while Lionsgate just landed another bomb as their action comedy "The Killer's Game" starring Dave Bautista failed to attract moviegoers.

Overseas it raked in another $9.4 million for a global debut of $20.8 million. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics (83% on Rotten Tomatoes), and moviegoers also seemed to enjoy it ("B+" CinemaScore).

The documentary "Am I Racist?" opened in third place with $4.5 million from 1,517 theaters.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" finished its eighth weekend in fourth place with $3.8 million, down 45.6% from the previous frame. The film has now grossed a total of $620.1 million domestically, $683.8 million internationally, and $1.3 billion worldwide.

The Top 5 is rounded out by the biopic "Reagan" with $2.9 million, a 39.9% decline in its third weekend. The film has grossed a total of $23.2 million in North America.

Lionsgate's "The Killer's Game" made its debut in sixth place with $2.6 million from 2,623 theaters against a budget of $30 million.
