The sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is enjoying a strong second weekend, and Universal and Blumhouse's newly released horror remake "Speak No Evil" starring James McAvoy opened in a not-so-close second place. The satirical documentary "Am I Racist ?" scored the top debut in 2024 for a doc, while Lionsgate just landed another bomb as their action comedy "The Killer's Game" starring Dave Bautista failed to attract moviegoers.

Warner Bros' legacy comedy sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" raked in $51.3 million in its sophomore frame, dropping 53.7%. The domestic total has now reached $187.7 million, while overseas the film isn't doing so well with only $76.5 million. The worldwide tally is currently $264.2 million.
The horror film "Speak No Evil", a remake of a 2022 Danish film, opened in second place with $11.3 million from 3,375 theaters. Overseas it raked in another $9.4 million for a global debut of $20.8 million. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics (83% on Rotten Tomatoes), and moviegoers also seemed to enjoy it ("B+" CinemaScore).

The Top 5 is rounded out by the biopic "Reagan" with $2.9 million, a 39.9% decline in its third weekend. The film has grossed a total of $23.2 million in North America.
