Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal Join Ari Aster's New Film EDDINGTON

"Hereditary" and "Midsommar" writer/director Ari Aster has assembleed an all-star cast for his upcoming movie "Eddington", which so far includes Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward and Clifton Collins Jr..

Financed and produced by A24, the film follows a small-town New Mexico sheriff with higher aspirations. Further plot details are being kept under wraps, though the project has been discussed as a Western. The film starts production this week.

Aster will write and direct. He is also producing alongside Lars Knudsen under their Square Peg banner. Two-time Academy Award nominee Darius Khondji ("Se7en", "The City of Lost Children") is the director of photography.
