"Pirates of the Caribbean" director Gore Verbinski has assembled an incredible ensemble cast for his upcoming action adventure film "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die", which so far includes Sam Rockwell ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri"), Haley Lu Richardson ("The White Lotus"), Michael Pena ("The Martian"), Zazie Beetz ("Joker") and Juno Temple ("Ted Lasso").
The plot follows a man from the future (Rockwell) who arrives at a diner in Los Angeles where he must recruit the precise combination of disgruntled patrons (Richardson, Peña, Beetz, Temple) to join him on a one-night-six-block quest to save the world from the terminal threat of a rogue artificial intelligence.
Additional casting is underway with Denise Chamian ("Top Gun: Maverick") overseeing. Filming is due to begin later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.
The script is penned by Matthew Robinson ("Love & Monsters", "Dora and the Lost City of Gold", "Monster Trucks"). He also wrote and directed "The Invention of Lying".
