"Argylle" is somehow still the #1 movie at the box-office, grossing $6.5 million in its sophomore frame. That's a steep 62.8% decline from its already disappointing opening weekend. With a price tag of $200 million, the film has now grossed $28.8 million domestically and another $31.3 million overseas.
The horror comedy "Lisa Frankenstein" opened in second place with $3.8 million from 3,144 theaters, which makes it the 48th lowest Super Bowl weekend launch of all-time. It landed slightly ahead of 2017's "The Space Between Us", which opened with $3.77 million from 2,812 theaters. It is, however, a pretty low-budget film which reportedly cost around $13 million to produce. The film received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics (49% on Rotten Tomatoes), and a lukewarm reception from moviegoers ("B" CinemaScore).
"The Beekeeper" is holding in third place with $3.4 million, dropping 34.3% from last week. The film has grossed a total of $54.7 million in North America and $79.2 million internationally. That's $133.9 million worldwide against a $25 million budget.
In fourth place we find "The Chosen Season 4: Episodes 1-3 " with $3.1 million which brings its domestic cume to $12.5 million.
The Top 5 is rounded out by "Wonka" with $3.1 million, which brings its domestic total to $205.2 million. Overseas it adds another $382.3 million for a worldwide total of $587.5 million.
