John Krasinski Natalie Portman In Guy Ritchie Movie Fountain Of Youth

John Krasinski and Natalie Portman have signed on to star in Guy Ritchie's new film "Fountain of Youth". Written by James Vanderbilt ("Zodiac"), the film will be produced for Apple by Skydance, Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment.

The film follows two estranged siblings (Krasinski and Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives — and possibly lead to immortality.

Filming is expected to begin during the first quarter of 2024.

Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger will produce alongside Tripp Vinson through his Vinson Films, as well as Vanderbilt, William Sherak and Paul Neinstein for Project X Entertainment. Ritchie & Ivan Atkinson and Jake Myers are also producing with Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella) serving as executive producers.

Krasinski can next be seen in Paramount's "IF", which he also wrote, directed and produced. Portman is also set to star in Apple's limited series "Lady in the Lake", which will mark the actress' TV acting debut. Ritchie finished two films in 2023, the WWII action film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" starring Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez, and an untitled heist thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Gonzalez and Cavill.
