Catherine Ohara Joins The Last Of Us Season 2

Emmy-winning "Schitt's Creek" and "Home Alone" star Catherine O'Hara has joined the cast of the second season of HBO's hit series "The Last of Us". Details about her character are being kept under wraps.

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will reprise their role. They will be joined by newcomers Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, and Kaitlyn Dever as Abby.

Season 2 will be filmed in Vancouver as a significant part of the story in "The Last of Us Part II" video game is set in the Pacific Northwest. Production is slated to begin in February, and it's set to return to HBO in 2025.

Written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman, the show is a co-production between HBO and Sony Pictures Television. The series is based on the critically acclaimed PlayStation video game of the same name and takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed.
