Brad Pitt in Talks to Star in Quentin Tarantino's Final Film THE MOVIE CRITIC

Brad Pitt To Star In Quentin Tarantinos Final Film The Movie Critic

Brad Pitt is looking to reunite with Quentin Tarantino on his tenth and possibly last film, titled "The Movie Critic". Tarantino has shared an intention to retire from filmmaking after his 10th film. The two previously worked together on 2009's "Inglourious Basterds" and 2019's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". Pitt won an Oscar for the latter.

Although not much is known at the moment, the film is reportedly set in southern California during the 1970s and centers on a cynical film reviewer Tarantino read growing up. It's rumored to be inspired by the life of Pauline Kael, the late New Yorker writer who was one of the most influential film critics of her time. No studio is attached to the film, which will shoot in California and receive a $20 million tax credit.

Pitt is currently in production on the racing drama "Formula One", which is directed by Joseph Kosinski ("Top Gun: Maverick"). If the deal for "The Movie Critic" goes through, the actor will most likely start filming either late this year or in early 2025. He is also set to star in Jon Watts' "Wolfs", which reunites him with his "Ocean's Eleven" co-star George Clooney
