DGA Awards 2022 Nominations - The Complete List (Film & Television)

The Directors Guild of America has announced the nominations for this year's awards. In the film categories, Kenneth Branagh scored his first ever nomination for "Belfast", while Steven Spielberg is nominated for the twelfth time for "West Side Story". Spike Lee will received a a Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Motion Picture Directing

A similar feat was achieved in 1983, when "Hill Street Blues") nabbed all three spots that were available at the time. Since the introduction of the five-nomination categories, no drama or comedy shows have ever nabbed all of them. Other nominated shows this year include "Ted Lasso", "The White Lotus" and "Hacks".
