Disney has once again scored a #1 hit at the box-office with its Pixar collaboration "Finding Dory", breaking some new records in the process, while the action comedy "Central Intelligence" landed a respectable second place.

Find out more about the weekend box office after the jump.

The Disney-Pixar collab "Finding Dory" confirmed and exceeded expectations with a $136 million debut, breaking the records for largest animated feature opening weekend and single-day gross ($55 million). It's also a huge bump compared to the $70.2 million debut of "Finding Nemo" in 2003. The film was also a hit with critics, scoring 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, while CinemaScore gave it an "A".

In second place we find Warner Bros' action comedy "Central Intelligence" starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, with a $34.5 million opening weekend. That's a pretty solid start and slightly ahead of the studio's $30 million projection. The film scored an "A-" on CinemaScore, while critics were a bit more reserved considering its 66% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

"The Conjuring 2" dropped 61% this weekend from #1 to #3, bringing in $15.5 million for a $71.7 million domestic total. To that it adds another $116 million from overseas markets. Not bad for a $40 million production, but the domestic drop is pretty considerable and much higher than what "The Conjuring" and "Annabelle" experienced in their second weeks. The same steep drop was registered by another Top 10 sequel, "Now You See Me 2" which finished in fourth place this weekend with $9.6 million and a domestic total of $41.3 million.

The worst drop of the week, however, belongs to the video game adpatation "Warcraft". The film fell 73% in its second weekend, scoring only $6.5 million and bringing its domestic total to a very weak $34.5 million. Salvation comes from abroad, however, as the film earned $339.9 million from 40 countries, $200 of which came from China.
