Disney is continuing its big box-office push with "Captain America: Civil War" and "The Jungle Book" topping the charts and closing in on the billion dollar mark along with their animated feature "Zootopia", which is still holding on. Meanwhile new arrivals "Money Monster" and "The Darkness" had very little impact over the weekend.

Find out more about the weekend box office after the jump.

"Captain America: Civil War" is the top movie at the box-office for a second consecutive weekend, earning $72 million for a domestic total of $295.9 million. With an international cume of $656 million, the film is very close to crossing the $1 billion mark and has already pushed the Marvel Cinematic Universe to over $10 billion across thirteen films.

In second place, "The Jungle Book" took in another $17.1 million and has now grossed $311.1 domestically. Internationally, the film grossed $516.9 million, meaning that this one might score another billion dollars for Disney if it keeps this pace up, and it has yet to be released in Korea and Japan.

Jodie Foster's new film "Money Monster" made its debut in third place with $14.7 million, which is okay for what everyone expected, but not quite impressive given the film's star-power fueled by George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

The Blumhouse horror film "The Darkness" opened in fourth place with $4.9 million, a thin, but satisfactory debut for the $4 million production. The film has received negative reviews from just about everyone, and is currently rated 0% on Rottenomatoes.com. But, for better or worse, the studio has earned back its investment and might just turn a profit with this one, albeit a very small profit.

Last week's surprise over-performer, "Mother's Day", rounds up the Top 5. The film managed to under-perform this weekend and dropped 70%, grossing $3.2 million for a fifth place finish.
