Both "Spectre" and "The Peanuts Movie" continue to hold at the top of the box-office while new releases "Love the Coopers" and "The 33" score modest debuts.
Find out more about the weekend box office after the jump.
Daniel Craig's latest James Bond adventure, "Spectre" is still on point with $33.6 million over the weekend and a domestic total of $128.9 million. For its second week, the film dropped 52%, the smallest drop for the franchise since "Casino Royale".
"The Peanuts Movie" also registered a nice holdover in the U.S. with a $24 million weekend that brings its domestic total to $82.3 million. The big disappointment, however, is in the international gross which is pretty low at $7.9 million from 12 territories.
In third place, the Christmas holiday comedy "Love the Coopers" landed an $8.3 million opening weekend, not a stellar result, but not bad, either, for the $17 million film, especially since it's the only holiday-themed movie released, so far.
"The Martian" is still a strong presence at #4 with $6.7 million over the weekend, and the sci-fi epic has now reached $207 million in the U.S.
Rounding up the top 5 is the true story drama "The 33". The film only managed a $5.7 million opening weekend, and an additional $12.6 million from overseas markets. But, with a small $26 million production budget, the film will eventually turn a profit.
A big surprise was the inclusion of the Bollywood film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" starring Salman Khan in the top 10 at #8. The film grossed $2.4 million over the weekend and already has $30 million from five other countries.
New Wide Releases: "Love the Coopers", "The 33", "My All American".
Biggest Drop : "Spectre" (-52%)
