Nicolas Cage To Star In A24 Comedy DREAM SCENARIO

"The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" star Nicolas Cage has joined the upcoming comedy "Dream Scenario", which is produced by "Hereditary" and "Midsommar" helmer Ari Aster. The film will be written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli ("Sick of Myself").

Plot details are being kept under wraps. A24 will finance and produce the film. Aster and Lars Knudsen will produce through Square Peg, marking their fourth collaboration with A24, which includes "Hereditary", "Midsommar", and the upcoming "Disappointment Blvd." starring Joaquin Phoenix. Jacob Jaffke and Tyler Campellone serve as additional producers.

Cage can next be seen in the Western "Butcher's Crossing", which will premiere at TIFF next month, and Universal's vampire action comedy "Renfield", in which Cage stars as Dracula opposite Nicholas Hoult as the titular protagonsit.
