Priyanka Chopra Jonas ("Quantico", "Heads of State") has signed on to star in the upcoming film written and directed by S.S. Rajamouli ("RRR"). In addition to distribution in India, the movie, which is currently untitled, is in talks for U.S. distribution with Variance.

The film is described as an original action-adventure epic following heroes on a series of perilous missions around the world. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kumbha. The title of the film will be revealed at a fan event on November 15 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Below you can check out an official poster featuring Chopra Jonas as protagonist Mandakini in the film.

Rajamouli's 2022 hit "RRR" was the fourth highest grossing Indian release ever, with over $166 million worldwide. The film won an Oscar for Best Original Song ("Naatu Naatu"). Rajamouli's two-part "Baahubali" saga, re-edited as "Baahubali: The Epic", was recently released as a single film.

Chopra Jonas recently starred in Amazon Prime's action-comedy film "Heads of State" opposite Idris Elba and John Cena, which ended up being the fourth most-watched Amazon MGM Studios film of all-time on Prime Video. She will next appear in Amazon's action drama "The Bluff" and the second season of the TV series "Citadel".

Chopra Jonas' Purple Pebble Pictures has a first look deal with Amazon Studios to develop a slate of features and TV content that spotlight diverse talent and stories from India and the world.
